With a 14.6″ Super AMOLED display and 120Hz refresh rate, it also has the Galaxy Tab’s thinnest bezels ever at 6.3mm for a maximum screen-to-body ratio. Its stunning display is protected by an Armor Aluminum5 frame that is 30% more scratch-resistant and 40% less prone to bending than the Galaxy Tab S7. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is designed to totally immerse your consumers in every video, movie, game and more while on the go.
With dual 12MP front cameras, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra transforms video calls with professional 4K video quality6 Samsung’s auto-framing technology keeps your clients in focus while zooming in or out to include additional participants as they join the call. The Galaxy Tab S8 and S8+ have the fastest processor yet in a Galaxy Tab, a 4nm chip, as well as enough RAM and storage. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra has up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and all three variants can be expanded by up to 1TB through a microSD7 card.
The Galaxy Tab S8 series is also the first Samsung tablet to feature Wi-Fi 6E8, which provides up to twice the bandwidth9 and maximum speed of Wi-Fi 6, while significantly improving network quality. Optimised network quality can reduce some of the burden of bad connections, Alternatively, share content in a flash with hyperfast and secure Galaxy 5G10, whether it’s for phoning into class remotely or cleaning out their inbox while commuting.

The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and S8+ both come with a new and improved S Pen that uses a prediction algorithm for ultra-low latency15 giving users a writing experience that resembles the feel of gliding a pen across paper. As a result of a unique relationship with Clip Studio Paint16, the Galaxy Tab S8’s large screen can be used to create digital paintings using the S Pen as a paintbrush. Customise tools and brushes, and even select rich real-world colours from your customer’s synced phone photos.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra now has 4K recording capability on rear and ultra-wide front cameras. Content creators and streamers may easily document online instructional and games using Samsung’s Screen Recorder’s customisable Selfie Videos17. S8 tablets work seamlessly with the open Galaxy environment. Openness means customers can define their own mobile experience and simply connect Galaxy devices. Samsung has made sure Samsung’s One UI Tab 4 user interface is consistent and intuitive, with clever integrations that flow from your Galaxy Tab S8 to your customer’s smartphone and PC.
When inspiration strikes on the go, use the S Pen to scribble down reminders in the new and enhanced Samsung Notes app on the Galaxy Tab S8 series. With the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy S22 Ultra, customers can share photos, movies, and files twice as fast22. As a result of Auto Switch, users can shift seamlessly from one device to another without missing a beat. Samsung Health is available on Galaxy tablets for the first time, allowing customers to watch workout videos and view their health and fitness data from their Galaxy Watch.
The Galaxy Tab S8 can also be used as a second touchscreen monitor23 for Galaxy PCs, allowing for simultaneous multitasking. Transparent app windows and DeX mirroring are now available in Samsung DeX24, a handy desktop experience that transforms the Galaxy Tab S8 from tablet to desktop.
