Samsung has been refining its business-focused tablet line for some time. The original Galaxy Tab S, released back in 2014, was its first foray into designing an Android tablet specifically for business multitasking. Over the years, it hasn’t stopped innovating, adding an advanced S Pen, compatibility with Samsung DeX, and boosting storage, memory and battery life.
With the Galaxy Tab S8, Samsung has expanded the range to three models. This includes the 11″ Galaxy Tab S8 and 12.4″ Galaxy S8+ as well as the Galaxy S8 Ultra, which boasts a 14.6″ screen while retaining the thin, light form factor.
There are also big improvements like the advanced 2-in-1 Bookcover keyboard, providing a full-size keyboard, which is available for all three Galaxy Tab S8 variants, while a backlit edition is available on the Ultra only. All three also offer a wide-angle front-facing camera and integrated video calling.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Series also recognises the unique connectivity needs a business might have, with support for Wi-Fi 6E in the Tab S8 and S8 Ultra, and 5G in the Tab S8+, which comes in two models — the 5G edition offering both Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity.1
