Computing Samsung Smartphones

The past year has been a challenging one that has tested our resilience adaptability and resourcefulness. While Samsung remains optimistic that work and life will stabilise in the coming months, one thing is for sure — your customers won’t be going back to business as usual.

That’s because the pandemic has ushered in a new future of work that we already knew was coming. A hybrid workplace that encompasses home, the office and spaces in between. Samsung has embraced this change by designing the Galaxy S21 series to serve as the collaboration and productivity hub for this new way of working.

Operating in this new way of working requires more streamlined ways of communicating and collaborating to help teams get on the same page, even if they’re not in the same space. The Galaxy S21 gives your customers the flexibility, power and security to work the way they want, wherever they are.

Samsung built its newest Galaxy phone for business with a few key ideas in mind:

Openness

The Galaxy S21 works seamlessly with your customers’ existing business tools to work; however, it is best for them.

For example, the S21 natively integrates core productivity apps, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams and OneDrive so your customers can tackle work wherever they are. They can also use Link to Windows to take calls, respond to messages and access all of their phone apps on their PC.

Samsung DeX helps them go beyond the limitations of mobile by actually transforming their S21 into a PC. Your customers can connect to their display, pair a keyboard and mouse, and have an intuitive desktop experience powered by their phones. With the latest Galaxy smartphones, your customers can even connect to DeX wirelessly on any Miracast-enabled display or smart monitor, on their Windows PC or Apple Mac.

Innovation

The hybrid workplace demands a device that can keep up with the pace of business, and your customers transitions from the home to office and back. The Galaxy S21 offers all-day battery life and intelligent power saving, plus Super-Fast Charging when they need to do a quick top-up.

Your customers also get full support for 5G across the range. The S21+ and S21 Ultra 5G add smart new connectivity features like Wi-Fi 6E and ultra-wideband (UWB) connection, giving your customers a new way to share files between devices and locate tagged items and even unlock their car hands-free.

Collaborating and vlogging are also simple with S21’s camera system, Samsung’s most impressive yet. With Director’s View, your customers can record video using the front and back cameras simultaneously and take full advantage of all the lens for more dynamic presentations, training videos, streaming sessions and virtual tours.

The S21 Ultra 5G is also the first S series device ready for the Galaxy S Pen. Pair an optional S Pen with the device to enjoy a pen and paper experience to take notes or share ideas.

Security

Of course, when it comes to security, Samsung always has your customers’ back. Samsung built the S21 on the Samsung Knox defence-grade security platform, which defends your customers’ device against hackers, malware and other threats. It’s your customers’ secure foundation for everything they want to protect on their device, including mobile payments, health data and biometrics.

Taking security to the next level, the S21 uses Knox Vault, a chipset-level security platform. Knox Vault adds an advanced layer of protection to guard against physical, fault and side-channel attacks by adding tamper-resistant secure memory to the secure processor.

For IT teams managing large device fleets, Samsung has also introduced the Galaxy S21 Enterprise Edition, including Knox Suite — a full set of advanced mobile management tools — to get your customers’ deployment underway. Your customers also get a little extra peace of mind, knowing that Samsung will support their devices with security updates for a full five years of security maintenance releases.

Embracing the future of work today

None of us would have thought we would be here so soon, but the hybrid workplace has rapidly become a reality. Now employees are looking to their employers to provide them with the tools they need to be, productive and even excited about their work — wherever it’s taking place.
