Switch from iPhone to Pixel
- iPhone® and Pixel.
- Charging cables for both phones.
- Quick Switch Adaptor.
- SIM tool.
- Charge both phones and update your iPhone®.
- Turn off iMessage and FaceTime (they need to do this to receive messages from the iPhone® users on their Pixel).
- Find or create a Google Account.
- Transfer the SIM from the iPhone® to the new Pixel.
- Connect to Wi-Fi and log in to Google Account.
- Then connect the phones via cable. If the cable doesn’t fit the iPhone®, use the Quick Switch Adaptor.
- Via Wi-Fi or cable: Apps and app data, music, photos, videos, accounts, contacts, messages, phone settings, wallpaper, call history and more.
- Via cable: All the above, plus messages (including WhatsApp chats), apps, accounts and music.
- Switching is recommended via cable rather than over Wi-Fi as more transfer more data types can be transferred.

Your customers can charge Pixel with an existing USB-C® cable and charger. They might get faster charging with the official Pixel charger, sold separately, which offers up to 30W for fast-wired charging power.**
Yes, but some data can’t be copied wirelessly, so it’s recommended that a cable is used if available*. When switching wirelessly, your customers will be prompted to download the Switch to Android app on iPhone®. Then your customers will be able to copy over contacts, photos, videos and calendars, but not messages (including WhatsApp chats), apps, accounts and music.
Once they’ve turned off iMessage and FaceTime on iPhone®, they’ll be able to use the Messages app on Pixel to text any phone. Texts, iMessages and all iMessage content, like photos and videos, can be copied over during setup. They can also install and use other popular messaging apps such as WhatsApp and Signal.
Yes. Pixel comes with Meet, a high-quality video-calling app that works on Android and iOS devices, as well as computers and compatible displays. † They can also use WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger and other popular video calling apps.
Your customers can find and install their favourite Android apps using the Google Play Store.
